Do you love guns? Do you wish you could have the guns you see in movies and on TV? Now you can.

Airsoft guns look, feel, weigh the same as the real thing. There are 100's of diffent types, so you can easily find the gun you want.

There are 3 major types of guns: Spring Powered Guns , Gas Powered Guns , and Automatic Electric Guns (AEG's).

The spring-powered gun is perfect for the beginner. Spring guns must be cocked first, and then fired. Cock, fire, cock, fire. These guns are very cost-effective, and the guns are surprisingly sturdy. A spring-powered hand gun can be purchased for as little as $20.

Gas-Powered guns are another popular type of an Airsoft. The firing of the gun is employing either by an on-board, or a magazine-stored gas storage system. These guns have a realistic "recoil" by cycling the slide/upper receiver back-and-forth while firing the gun. They also give the hand-held gun the capability to empty a magazine as fast as you can pull the trigger. They can be easily reloaded by inserting a fresh magazine.

Automatic Electric Guns or AEGs are powered by an on-board battery (similar to hobby R/C Cars), which operates a motor that turns gears inside the gun to compress and release a piston, which in turn creates the blast of air needed to propel the 6mm BB through the barrel of the gun.

Many people don't know that AirSoft has a relatively long history. They were initially designed and marketed here in the United States about 30 years ago by a major BB gun manufacturer. AirSoft was conceptualized as a new approach in BB gun application. In place of the utilitarian air gun designed for hunting, the guns were created with a pure recreational application in mind. It was created for people who enjoy target practicing or indoor (yes, indoor) plinking with friends; individuals who are not concerned about the high power hunting application of a BB or pellet gun but just wanted to have fun. This is exactly where AirSoft guns may fit in your life style.

Spring Guns Spring Guns: Spring guns must be cocked each time. It does not require any batteries or gas. These models are usually the most durable and best entry level guns.

Automatic Electric Guns (AEG): Battery powered motor, gear box, and circuit board which controls the the air piston assembly and mech box. These are the most expensive and most powerful airsoft rifles.

Gas Guns Require the use of some kind of gas propellant (Click Here for Gas Refill Canister). The gas is stored in the gas chamber, usually in the magazine or clip.

"Non-blowback" Gas Guns A non-blowback (NBB), the gas only serves as pushing the bb forward. Also, the slide is in the fixed position.

"Blowback" Gas Guns A blowback (GBB), the gas pushes the slide as well as the bb.

Non-blowbacks are more efficient than blowbacks because they require less gas to push the bbs.
