  Spring Airsoft Pistol

Whether it's used in the armed forces, law enforcement or Hollywood, the pistol is probably the most recognizable of all guns. A spring Airsoft pistol will fire as quickly as the trigger-finger of the user and provide their owner with an experience they have yearned for since watching police shows on television. Most hobbyists have seen enough Mel Gibson movies or are familiar enough with Dirty Harry to want to own a gun they can wear as sidearm or shoot with one hand.

In the construction of these Airsoft pistols, weight is most important. A rifle or semi-automatic can be balanced on a bipod or in the crook of a shoulder, a pistol cannot. It takes infinite skill to shoot a pistol accurately (especially if one is using one hand) and the heft, the way it feels in your hand, is what makes the pistol so special. Since the rate of fire in an Airsoft pistol is determined by the user's trigger finger, it is not the power of a pistol that is most important as it is how the gun feels in your hand.

From the days of the old west there has been something alluring about wearing a sidearm. We see pistols more in our everyday lives then we do any other gun, they have become part of our mythology. We know about their accuracy and like the way they feel and look. Airsoft has been making realistic gaming guns for nearly thirty years and the pistols are amongst their most popular line. For the serious hobbyist, owning a spring Airsoft pistol is a way to own their dream firearm without spending a fortune.

"Non-blowback" Gas Guns A non-blowback (NBB), the gas only serves as pushing the bb forward. Also, the slide is in the fixed position.
